About: Although Ronald (Ronnie) was Eminem's uncle, he was only two month older than Em. They grew up like brothers and you can say without overstatement that he was the only relative Em really loved. Ronnie commited suicide in the year 1991 at the age of 19 by shooting his head. The reason is supposed to be his girlfriend at this time. It took a long time for Eminem to cope with the death of Ronnie.The dog tag Eminem is wearing is from Ronnie. His grandmother gave him the tag after the death of his uncle as an remembrance.
Eminem's grandmother in an interview about Ronnie and Eminem:"I was kind of bitter about him writing about my dead son, because the last five years of my deceased boy, Marshall had not even seen him. Marshall - Eminem - and my son Ronnie were very close. He idolised Ronnie and Ronnie loved him. He never even came to Ronnie's funeral and he has never put the first flower on Ronnie's grave. He doesn't do anything - he won't go near the grave. The chain that Marshall wears around his neck, the dog-tag - that was Ronnie's. I gave him the dog-tag, he makes duplicates, he sells them now, and that really broke my heart because this is something sacred to me that I gave the boy. About: Debbie became unscheduled pregnant at the age of 17 and married her
boyfriend Marshall Bruce Mathers II. The marriage did only retain for one year. Thereafter they had several realtionships. She did bear a baby (Em's half brother Nathan) in 1986, the father is Fred Samara Jr., who denied that it was his son and was sued to pay alimony.
The relationship between Em and his mom is very bad at the moment: in 1999 she filed a lawsuit against her son (10 million dollars), because he named her in an interview a 'drug addicted alcoholic and vagabund'. Now Eminem has to pay Debbie 25 000 dollars compensation for pain and suffering. The relationship between the two is still bad. |

About: Em's dad married Debbie Mathers-Briggs in the year 1972, when she was already pregnant with Em. The marriage only lasted one year: Debbie left her husband in 1973, because he was supposed to be violent and a drinker. Eminem never saw his father again after that. His dad tried to approach his son since Em is popular, but Em does not care about his dad and rejects any contact with him.

About: Eminem and Kim met each other very early in highschool. Their relationship was identified with a deep love and hate, that lead to a steady up and down. In December 1995 her daughter Hailie Jade was born, and in summer 1999 they married surreptitious with exclusion of the publicity.
The marriage went worse and on July 4th, 2000 an event happened which is supposed to be the last straw: Eminem saw a man (a server called John Guerra) kissing Kim on her mouth on a parking-lot in Detroit . Eminem went to them and stroke the man down with a weapon. Em was arrested by the police and story was published in the press. |

Kim was desperate and felt mortified, tried to restore her honesty with an item of written comment. Shortly after that she tried to suicide by slitting her pulse veins. This was the first time Eminem filed for divorce. But they reconciled and started the last attempt to save their marriage, but failed: Kim filed for divorce in March, 2001. Kim got 475 000 dollars to buy a new house and they share the custody for Hailie Jade.
There are two songs that characterize Eminem's relationship to Kim: '97 Bonnie and Clyde and Kim.

"When she [Kim] first heard '97 Bonnie And Clyde', she was kind of like, "You're an asshole. You're a fucking punk." When I made the other song, the new song that's on the album, she, like -- I'll never forget this.
We were both sitting in the car, and she just looked over at me, and I said, "You don't have anything to say?" She was like, "You're fucking crazy. You're crazy, for real, you're crazy." So I think it disturbed her a little bit. She don't want to listen to the song. But, you know, that was the way I felt at the time."

Interviewer: So how is Kim and Marshall's relationship now?
"They have never been good from day one. They have fought like brother and sister...I told Debbie 'You better watch these two.' They were living in a small apartment and when Kim got pregnant with little Haile, Marshall was so busy with all his, every nickel that he earned, he worked and earned. All the money he got, he got the hard way. Nobody gave this boy any money. He worked two jobs...He could have been killed trying to make it big. OK? Kim dumped him. Kim was going with somebody else...Marshall would try to see little Hailie and Kim's stepfather said to him, at the door one day and told him, 'You're no good, you're never going to amount to anything. If you ever come here again, I'll kill you. ' The baby does not have Marshall's last name. The baby was born Hailie Jade Scott.
Interviewer: So does she have his name now?
"No she does not. She's never. Kim holds that over his head. You know, if she ever leaves him, Marshall could never get custody....!
(Talking about Eminem's gun arrest) [Eminem] returned early from a tour to surprise her and he had just purchased a gun. It was not a loaded gun because he has people shooting at him. He has to wear a bullet proof vest in LA and some places he goes...The gun was not loaded when he entered the bar and caught Kim. He was so devastated that he pulled the gun. This is over Kim again!
Interviewer: Do you think she was seeing one of them [the men she got caught with in the bar]?
"You know, I think she sees everyone and anyone she can...When Marshall made it big, my god, Kim was the first one there telling him how much she missed him, loved him, and Hailie needed him. And because of that little girl, he worshipped that little girl she was right back with him."
